Bodwell hosted a university fair in the Fall 2014 Term to help students find out more about Canadian universities such as UBC, SFU, University of Toronto, and others.

Students have been able to explore many of their university options by visiting Canadian, US and UK university fairs as well as attending up to 20 different university presentations that Bodwell High School has hosted this term.

The university transition program for Bodwell students is guided by Ms. Bianca Ferrajohn, BSc., BEd., MTeach., University & Career Guidance Coordinator, who has this to say about the role:

I have just taken on a new position as the Coordinator for University and Career Guidance after teaching Science at Bodwell for the past 5 years. Our counselling team is dedicated to providing guidance and direction for all of our students so that they can make educated decisions about their future goals. Our NEW Graduation Transition program will help students explore their strengths, investigate post-secondary institutions, brainstorm possible career paths, and contribute positively to our local community. We are looking forward to working with them and are excited to see what their futures hold.
