The Bodwell athletic experience is rare amongst other schools because our teams are made up of athletes from all over the world. On the basketball court, over the soccer field, and in the swimming pool, our athletes think globally and win locally. Our teams have won numerous championships competing amongst North Shore Athletic Association (NSSAA) and the Greater Vancouver Independent School Athletic Association (GVISAA) schools. This is a credit to our well-qualified coaches and athletes that harness their diversity of talents and personalities into athletic success.

COMPETITIVE SPORTS

Basketball

The Bodwell basketball program is divided into junior and senior divisions for both boys and girls. The program is rich in history, with all four groups winning multiple championships.

Volleyball

The volleyball program has divisions for both boys and girls. Like the basketball program, Bodwell's teams are historically strong and fought and maintained their championships for several years.

Track & Field

Rain or shine, track and field welcomes boys and girls to compete against each other and other schools for pride, camaraderie, and the thrill of competition. Bodwell fields very successful teams year after year.

Soccer (Boys)

This boy's program is very competitive and successful, with many championship titles won, along with a share of heartbreaking losses. Determination is the common factor between teams year after year.

Swimming

The girls and boys competitive swimming club pits its members against fierce competition with other BC high schools. This program has won many accolades and wins against the field.

Badminton (Co-ed)

A co-ed sport that truly creates a unique teamwork dynamic between the sexes. Members must work in sync with one another through vigorous volleys and speedy saves.

Cross-Country

Boys and girls can brave the elements and test themselves to the limit in the difficult conditions of cross-country running. Many track and field runners also join this team for the challenge and the conditioning.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Open to boys and girls, this program, while relatively young compared with other Bodwell athletic programs, has carved a spot on its own with many good showings throughout the year.
