Bodwell’s team of seven Grade 10/11 Bodwell students excelled in the 1st annual Vancouver High School Ivey Competition on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Polina Raevskaya from Russia (Grade 11) and her team came in the first place while Edward AHANMISI from Nigeria (Grade 11) came in the second place with his team.

For three weeks prior to the competition Bodwell’s team trained with Mark McCoy, case competition coach for university students. On the day of the competition Bodwell students were randomly placed into teams with students from other schools. Each team was given three hours to “crack” and present a case to the panel of judges which they have never seen before. The competition was hosted by the Ivey Business School at Western University which is widely considered one of top business schools in Canada and among the best in the world.

Ivey’s Honors Program in Business administration gives students the unmatched combination of academic excellence and outstanding opportunity. Last year Bodwell graduates received 13 offers of admission to various faculties at Western University.
