Here we bring you some moments from the end of summer term 2017 final assembly. This includes Mr Laffin’s student video project ‘Canada 150’ as well as a photo slideshow featuring events such as Bodwell trips, band goes to Disney, Peruvian adventure, in and around school activities. Take a look through the videos and photos below to see how the summer term went and let us know in the comments about what you are most looking forward to in the fall term.

At the assembly, Ms Lee, Principal-Academics, introduced the school community to artists, including Mr Ron den Daas, who have been working with students to produce the huge mural on the west wall of the school (side of the gym), which shows off various nature in the locality. When finished, it is going to be a great feature of the school and really brightens the spirit trail walk up, near the school. Also, we had a performance from the jazz band, as well as an award to Miyu for her acceptance into the BCMEA Honour Band for her great percussive performances in band. Sadly, we also said goodbye to four teachers who are leaving us, Ms Scott, Ms Nichols, Ms Sidhu, and Mr Kokhar. We wish all of them the best for the future!

Finally, Legacy House was crowned champion house points winner for the summer 2017 term. They beat Spirit House in a very close race. Good luck to all the houses next term.
